[cobirds] Re: Gyr here now, morth water tank

2020-12-15 Thread nat....@gmail.com
I drove to Trilby/Taft this morning around 7:30 a.m. but no sign. I drove
north by landfill and south to Coyote Ridge but no sightings.
Did anyone see it this morning?

[cobirds] Subject selection

2020-12-15 Thread William H Kaempfer
Cobirds contributors,

Much as I’d like to drive up and see the Gyrfalcon, it’s kind of a long way.
Google maps tells me it is 1,920 miles from home. Nevertheless, I still like
to see reports on this bird and others on Cobirds.

However, it is unhelpful for one to reply to a message and not change a
contraindicatory subject line. Note that the message below has a subject “Re:
Gyr here now, morth water tank” (sic). But the text of the message says there
is no sign of the bird.

Pet peeve lecture over.

[cobirds] Canyon towhee information, Loveland

2020-12-15 Thread Jace Wesley Brasher
Hello, I continue to see reports for the canyon towhee in west Loveland,
but can not tell if the bird has been relocated or where exactly it is.
Any further information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

2020-12-15 Thread Nicholas Komar
Hi Jace, I think it was seen by three people between 8:45-9:45 am on Swainsona
rd (sw corner of Boedecker Lake). At least 6 birders arrived too late
(including me) and searched without luck until about 2:30 pm. Details including
location can be found in eBird. Feel free to call if you need more info.
