[cobirds] Black-backed Lesser Goldfinches, Larimer County
Hi All, We found about a dozen very black-backed Lesser Goldfinches hanging with American Goldfinches and 1 or 2 green-backed Lesser Goldfinches on the roadinto Bobcat Ridge and around the creek just as you enter the Natural Area parking. A few hummingbirds, Says Phoebes and what looked like 2 Canyon Wrens all in the same lower end this morning. Hi All, We found about a dozen or more very black-backed Lesser Goldfinches hanging with a couple of green-backed Lesser Goldfinches and several American Goldfinches on the road into Bobcat Ridge Natural Area (off Masonville Rd.). Also there were Say's Phoebes, couple of hummingbirds and what appeared to be 2 Canyon Wrens by the little creek just below the entrance to the lower parking area.
