At the top of Mountain Base Road, I heard an eastern Blue Jay calling from
an aspen grove! I've never heard one before in Golden Gate Canyon SP, and
I lived just north of it for 25 years and have birded there often since
moving to Louisville. The two Steller's Jays that I saw were quiet.
