Late this morning I flushed the Least Bittern as I was walking along the south shore of the marsh. It disappeared into the tall cattails near the center of the marsh. After an hour's wait it hadn't reappeared. My viewing time of the bittern in the three trips to Holcim is about 14 seconds total. Rich Miller Canon City
