[cobirds] More Christmas Bird Counts

2019-12-23 Thread Brandon
If anyone is interested, we have a couple more Christmas Bird Counts left
in the Pueblo area.

The 50th Lake Isabel compiled by Dave Silverman is this coming Saturday (28
December). This circle covers Colorado City, Rye, Lake Isabel, Beulah, and
roads in between, mostly in Pueblo County.

The Westcliffe CBC is on Saturday, 4 January, this is in Custer County.

Neither of these two counts get a lot of helpers, so anyone available to
help would be welcomed.

Contact me or check the CBC Website, for the circle map for information.

There are other Colorado CBCs, the next two Saturdays and Sundays, also a
few on Jan 1st and one on Jan 3rd, the Air Force Academy CBC, which
includes Monument in northern El Paso County, and other areas oudside of
the Air Force Academy property, as well as inside the Academy.

Hope everyone has been enjoying the CBCs this winter so far. Some results
are now on the CBC Website. Compilers, after you've enter all your
results, check back on the CBC Website, to see if any species are marked
with dd, in the Editoral Comments. That dd means, your friendly Colorado
CBC Regional Editor is requesting, details for that observation. A photo
would be best, though a drawing and or written description would be helpful.
