Sounds odd. I just downloaded a couple again, with no problems other than build
settings that needed to be updated.

I’m wondering why I got a warning when I downloaded the sample Apps then?

When I tried to download the following I got a warning saying the code was out
of date and shouldn’t be trusted:

SimpleScriptingObjects
SimpleScriptingProperties
SimpleScriptingVerbs
SimpleScriptingPlugin

From the Apple Developer site? I’ve never seen that message before, when I
compile I get a couple of warnings about non AppleScript related deprecations
but the code surrounding AppleScript seems to work ok.

Not in terms of how it's implemented in apps.

Latest Documentation for adding Applescript Support to an Objective-C Project

2015-02-23 Thread Dave
Hi,

I’m a bit confused as to where the latest documentation and sample code for
adding Applescript support to an Objective-C Project. From searching online it
looks like things have changed quite recently? When I downloaded the Sample AS
App’s from the Apple Developer Site, I got a warning telling me the information
was out of date, but it didn’t point me to any more up to date documents.

I’m more interested in Sample Code than Documentation but either would be fine.
Initially I think this needs to run under MacOS 10.9 and 10.10, but it may need
to support 10.8 at some point although I’m not too worried about that at the
moment.

Thanks a lot,
Cheers
Dave
