RE: Cocoon2 : pb with Slasdot sample.

2001-07-26 Thread LEUZINGER Claude (DSIT-EX)

I have internet access with NT authentification (it is ok), and the
connexion use a proxy.
Where and how can I set the proxy's parameters ( in tomcat ?).
Thanks,
Claude.

It looks like it couldn't connect to the Slashdot server - do you have
internet access from the machine where C2 is running? What
gateways/firewalls/proxies are in the way? How do you authenticate? Or is
it a responding proxy?

 Hello,
I am new to Cocoon, I am using Cocoon 2.0 with tomcat 3.2.2., windows
NT4.0. (and a proxy for internet).
When I try the samples News Feeds, for example Slashdot
 -live XML Feed
from Slashdot, I have this error message :
 org.apache.cocoon.ProcessingException: Failed to execute
 pipeline.:org.apache.cocoon.ProcessingException: Failed to execute
 pipeline.:org.apache.cocoon.ResourceNotFoundException:
 FileGenerator could
 not find resource:java.net.ConnectException: Operation timed
 out: connect
 what's wrong,
 Thanks,
 Claude.

2001-07-26 Thread Morrison, John

Sorry, I don't know how to set the proxy's user/password. I *do* know that
java and NT auth don't like each other (I've encountered the problem and
couldn't get the two to talk). Perhaps this would be best moved onto the
dev group as a problem to be resolved...? (or answered by somebody with more
knowledge than I ;) Are you subscribed to the dev mailing list?
