The Office of Strategic Initiatives at The Library of Congress has
embarked upon a major digital library initiative, part of which
involves the design and development of digital repository systems.
These systems will support acquisition, preservation and access for a
large number of digital collections spanning a wide variety of content
types and formats. Successful candidates will have extensive
experience managing information technology projects. Working knowledge
of digital library technologies and experience in digital library
projects will be regarded very positively. Successful candidates will
work as members of a team to design, develop, document and support new
or existing software systems within a repository development program.

[CODE4LIB] the new code4lib.org?

2007-09-20 Thread Jonathan Rochkind

So the website at code4lib.org still has a link in the nav banner to
wiki, but there is no wiki. Is there planned to be a wiki again, or
should I make other arrangements?

Any idea when the journal.code4lib.org can be moved back to a stable
host at code4lib.org?

A general update on the 'new code4lib.org location' project would be
appreciated. It's been over a month since the plan was announced, and
I'm somewhat confused as to current status and expected timeline for
next steps.
