Re: [CODE4LIB] SRU indexes for Aleph

2010-06-09 Thread Ziso, Ya'aqov
Ere,
This may be the first time the issue comes up at this level with Aleph. Are YOU
an ALEPH or Voyager customer?
If you are on ALEPH, simply open a support_ticket requesting what you need/want.
Any ALEPH customer can do that (Please!) and keep CODE4LIB up-to-date.

it's probably a custom YAZ Proxy. This is as far as I know the default
mapping to Z39.50 (of course it could have been modified locally):

Really? I find it hard to believe that the Index Data folks don't know how to
 make an Explain record.

Are you saying that Aleph has no native SRU capability and YAZ is the only SRU
 access to it?

 Thanks!

 Ralph

Re: [CODE4LIB] SMS headers in email-sms

We originally tried changing the From and Reply-To mail headers, but the

thinking there would be some sort of SMS-equivalent-header that it cared
about more.

Are you changing the line 'From:' (the From header) or 'From ' (the
envelope from, which is part of the SMTP protocol's routing, and *not*
part of the e-mail message)

I don't know if this will help or not, but it sounds like the -f flag is
the way to go:

I don't know if this will be any help but you would need to replace the reply-
to header I expect.
