 Any update on when this will be fixed?

 Reason I'm asking this: This error message on the front page (and even
 other page) makes this project look very unmaintained - which makes me
 very wary to trust it to fix security issues in a timely manner - which
 makes me wary to use it.

Comment:

 I think we may have to get infra to look into this issue as this has been
 an ongoing problem for a long time. I suspect our small vm is being
 overloaded with requests but I think we have no real way of mitigating
 this directly.

 I will raise this with infra shortly.
