Hi Romain,

This is the scenario,  I have 1 node at first which is 159 now i decided to add
2 new nodes so i added both 201 and 116. Now the data is being distributed to 3
nodes. Now i want to remove the old data on 159 so I did a  "nodetool -h
10.147.18.159 cleanup" after that nothing still same load which is 2MiB..

Let me know if I clearly  understand what the uses of the nodetool cleanup..

Thanks.

I figured out the issue... I think the issue on the cassandra version 4.

I tried using stable cassandra version which is v3.11

Machine - debian 10 OS

cassandra version - 3.11

java version - 8.0

!image-2020-11-16-13-58-08-395.png!

keyspace details

CREATE KEYSPACE demo WITH replication = \{'class': 'SimpleStrategy',
'replication_factor': '1'} AND durable_writes = true;

It's working fine on v3.11 for now.. I need to do a multiple cluster and
different datacenter..

Cheers!
