It is available in (almost) all distros, allowing a developer to create their own release channel (including updates) without the procedural requirements of getting into a particular distro. (Although that is still a great goal.) Would you consider releasing Apache Netbeans via Flatpak? Could be a new line at EOF or brace, doesn't matter. It is easier to reproduce
with a new line.
