I was using 11.3 due to inertia. It was working and I was in the middle of a
project.
Yesterday I began to switch to12.5. Today it is still incomplete, but I have
gotten cygwin updated. Little problems beset my attempts at 12.5:
-- Can I install 12.5 without uninstalling 11.3? The documentation is silent.
-- Will uninstalling 11.3 lose my option settings? The documentation is silent.
-- Where do I get .asc and KEYS files? On the 12.5 download page these terms
are highlighted, but they are not links.
-- Where is gpg or pgp on cygwin? Turns out to be gnupg.
I know these complaints belong somewhere else, but the cost of finding that
place is higher than I am willing to pay.
