These were slightly touched-up versions of a file made by David .Schulz. There have also been several other HiDPI-related improvements since this bug was originally opened (including on Windows, which the original reporter used). Closing this issue; feel free to open new, more specific issues when you see problems that remain on certain configurations. But maybe you prefer that? When you use GDK_SCALE=2, does the editor font look blurry, or is it still sharp?
