I made a mistake. Running tests with Name OpenMeetings Version 5.0.0-M3 Revision b739f87 Builddate 2019-12-11T11:42:09Z I found out that my thoughts above are already implemented. If a user is in a group, that user is not suggested for invitation to a user from another group. My bad, sorry for wasting your time. Your fix above does all what I was looking for. Yes, that looks good. Altough I was thinking of a more differentiated possibility to hide users from the public and only show them to group members. Don't know if this is possible right now. Let's say we have two groups/organizations on the OM-server, IT-Service and a Dancing-group. The members of the IT-Service should not see the members of the Dancing-group and viseversa. And none of them should be visible to the public. Only users that do not belong to a special group should be visible to the public. And best of all, a user could choose both, visible to a group and to the public or forbid a user to join a group. Only some thoughts, don't want to disturb you with to much work. I was surprised a user can see all users registered in OM. When he invites a user he can see both, firstname lastname and email address.
