Re: About ant hadoop

2012-09-19 Thread Robert Evans
It would help if you could explain a bit more about what you changed. It
is hard to debug something simply by saying it compiles but does not run
correctly. You probably want to check the logs/UI for the JT and try to
trace down the path this job is taking.

Two constructors were removed in Hadoop 2 which causes a problem for Avro being

2012-09-19 Thread Zack (JIRA)
Zack created HADOOP-8827:

Summary: Upgrade jets3t to the latest
 Key: HADOOP-8827
 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-8827
 Project: Hadoop Common
  Issue Type: Improvement
  Components: fs/s3
Affects Versions: 2.0.0-alpha
 Environment: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64bit
Reporter: Zack
 Fix For: 2.0.2-alpha

As of hadoop-2.0.1-alpha, the bundles jets3t-0.6.1.jar, but the latest jets3t
is already at 0.9.0 . Perhaps it
would be good to upgrade to use a more up-to-date version.
