We still need to do either of the below things
* Move the section in CHANGES.txt to incompatible change and keep the fix in 
branch-2.
* Revert the commit from branch-2.

I like the idea of reverting the change.

I think this number(raw usage) would be helpful.  Not sure whether this should 
be in -du or -count and by default or as an option.
