Re: Plant Apache is now online
Hi folks, It's great to see all the blogs going up. Please do keep an eye on this for the next few days -- we're getting some wierd html bugs due to unclosed HTML and so forth. Now would be a good time to look at your feed generation (if you have control over it) and clean it up. Sam and Mark Pilgrim have written a validator that resides at http://feedvalidator.org/, that can be a big help. Nah Apparently, the machine has so far handled about a gig of http traffic in january (all of december was 600mb). I think the campus usage policy allows 10GB per week of outside-of-campus traffic. If it becomes an issue, I'm sure that the network admins will cut me some slack. Given the half a dozen tomcat instances and several dozen httpd instances that run here at the university, I'll just go and thumb on some heads with a big club if they don't :D -- cheers, - Leo Simons - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

No sooner do I send the message than I discover a better way. To add your blog to Planet Apache: checkout the cvs module planet. Edit the file config.ini and follow the format of the file. If one of you icon/graphics banner folks wants to do a cool logo, let us know.
