RE: [SHR-unstable] unable to get gprs working
Worked here, thanks. I applied the fix, and used fso-gprs-on.sh I only had to add 'modprobe ppp' at the beginning of the script : if you try to start gprs without ppp_generic loaded, it will fail and won't work until you reboot, it has something to do with a channel '4' not being closed, hence it tries to use '5' at the next attempt but it won't work. Now it would be nice to be able to modify the settings from shr-settings :) -Message d'origine- De : community-boun...@lists.openmoko.org [mailto:community-boun...@lists.openmoko.org] De la part de vale Envoyé : jeudi 12 février 2009 11:56 À : community@lists.openmoko.org Objet : Re: [SHR-unstable] unable to get gprs working solved ... read this: http://trac.freesmartphone.org/ticket/354 -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/-SHR-unstable--unable-to-get-gprs-working -tp2299584p2314200.html Sent from the Openmoko Community mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

Hi, all. Sorry about the shameless request for help! I am currently using AndNav2 (http://www.andnav.org/) on my Google G1 'phone (not as open as I thought it would be). Regardless of my repeated attempts, the core of this satnav application remains closed-source (proprietary). There are already a number of open satnav apps that work on multiple platforms, handheld ones included. pyroute and navit spring immediately to mind as ones that have been shown working on Openmoko handsets. I guess the problem for you is that they won't run under Android, but they might be helpful references for routing algorithms. On Friday 13 February 2009, Chris Andrew wrote: Hi, all. The same for me, I don't listen any buzz, but everyone say a lot of bad-words about the noise! I guess I am loosing friends, hehehe. For me, the buzz is absolutly strength signal related. Here in my room, I hear a very very very low buzz, but the other side complains about it. Well, not really, they say there's a buzz only when I ask about it. On the other hand, if I'm on the street, or at the roof, and I ask, many people say they have never heard a clearer cellphone call. I'm nox exagerating: that's what they say. Echo apears only if I turn up the volume. The other side hears it, but I don't. Neverball, anyone?
Hi, since I've seen that game on a mobile telephone of a friend I want it for the FR, too. My programming skills are not so good in linux environment (C#, SQl, a little VB6 and VB.NET and a very little bit Python ;)) so I just wanted to know: Could it be possible to make neverball playable on the neo? Source code is on the website ( http://neverball.org ) in the download section...the source code has to be compiled, so I think the compiler has to be installed on the neo first...but would that all work?
