Hello,

I (finally) uploaded the new Debian packages for QtMoko v31.
Make sure you read the releases notes
http://qtmoko.org/wiki/Update#Update_to_v31 or you might end-up with no
sound during calls.

As usual, instructions are located at http://qtmoko.org/wiki/Update.

BTW ... mine Eyepiece did ask for some aditional libraries on the first
run and then succesfully apt-got them.

Zb.

  Hi Radek

Everything's working great in QtMoko v31... except for Eyepiece.

  I get an error:
  Error: cannot load plugin
when trying to open PDF files. Is libdjvulibre21 required to view PDF
  files now?

Yup it's needed for PDF files. Eyepiece should install it on the first run,
 but
if that somehow does not work, you can install manually with apt-get from
 command line.

gestures (on SHR)

2011-01-06 Thread W. B. Kranendonk
Hi List,

Now and again I try using gestures on SHR. I can't seem to get past the initial
make the gesture after selecting a model and pressing the train button.

Should the frontend still function as described in the wiki? I started looking
into the underlying scripts, but haven't found the start or end yet.

I run the latest and up-to-date SHR.

Best regards,

Boudewijn

Re: gestures (on SHR)

Hi List,
Hi Boudewijn

Now and again I try using gestures on SHR.
Thats great!
I'm making advertising for OpenMoko and SHR all the time,
keeping in mind that the new one soon will be available to buy.
I'm often asked about gestures.

I can't seem to get past the initial make the gesture after selecting a
model and pressing the train button.
Hmm.

Should the frontend still function as described in the wiki?
I started looking into the underlying scripts, but haven't found the start or
end yet.
The library is still under heavy construction all the time...
I would suggest to build SHR for for machine vmware, install development
tools and compile there.
Or else, install devtools on your freerunner, and compile there, instead of
always making packages.
Additionally: Look into the library.
We are using Enlightenment and Elementaries...
But instead of doing it as isolated app, I would suggest to include it into FSO,
so that the configuration manager can access the settings...

I run the latest and up-to-date SHR.
A lot may have changed.
Changes faster then you can write docs ;-)

Best regards,
Boudewijn
best regards to you too
