GPRS in v47

2012-08-23 Thread Radek Polak
Hi,
there was problem with GPRS connect in v47 for Freerunner. So i had to fix it
and upload the release tarbal once again.

If you already installed v47, you can fix this simply yourself:

change auth->noauth in /etc/ppp/options

Regards

Radek

Re: [QtMoko] MokoFaen theme, update

2012-08-23 Thread Ben Wong
Theming *is* a critical task. I use only the MokoFaen theme because
(a) it looks much better and (b) the default Finxi theme had a bug (at
one point) where if you hung up the phone with the number pad showing,
the menu was messed up the next time you were in a call. MokoFaen has
always worked great for me.

isn't conky only for X11?

- After a series of test, at least on my GTA02, the use of the
lock-screen button in the home screen causes several freezes. So now
I'm using the power button to put my GTA02 in suspend and I'm going
to remove the lock-screen button from the homescreen.

I never experienced freezes and really like the lock button but could live
without it.

I know that theming is not a critical task, for me it's just an
amusement, but your opinions and help could be really useful.

Thanks. Your work is greatly appreciated!
If I had one wish: would it be possible to optionally position the buttons
on the right side? Im left-handed ;)

Upgrading SHR-CORE

2012-08-23 Thread Guilhem Bonnefille
Hi,

I have shr-core 2012.01 installed on my openmoko. I saw that new
versions are available (2012.07 and "shr-core"). What is the upgrade
process? "opkg upgrade" does not update my system.

Thanks in advance,

Is it impossible to use a Tracfone Simcard in a GTA02 FR?
