Re: J2ME on QtMoko/SHR?
hi radek, thanks for pointing me to phonetiq. the test app works nicely gpsmid somehow exits with an application exception (which is unfortunately not fitted to the screen size so I cannot read/report it here). Maybe if one will be able to run android-apks the gpsmid apk may work. best regards robin ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

It can be, if it's still useful and wanted, we can ask meta-java maintainer to include it or send him patch with phoneme. Re: WTB: Openmoko, WTS: Wikireader
:-) Lieferumfang: - Originalverpackung - GTA02 - Ersatz-Akku Schöne Grüße aus Köln Thomas On Friday 02 November 2012 10:46:00 Christoph Pulster wrote: Hi, I am Chris from Openmoko Shop www.pulster.eu We sell now the OM Wikireader for 49 eur. I guess I could live without it, but if there is a chance to include it, this would add the chance to have a couple more apps being able to run under SHR. So yes if possible, please include. br robin ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

Re: [Gta04-owner] No gta-04 available
Hello, Could you inform me when the 3g or the 4g motherboard, or best, a freerunner with this will be available by a supplier ? Do you think to make a 4g matherboard gta05 ? Option now have LTE modules, but they are a little bigger than the gtm601u in the GTA04 so aren't quite a drop-in replacement. They do say the 601 will fit on the footprint of the 801 though, so they are probably electrically compatible. http://www.option.com/en/products/products/lgamodulegtm801u/ In my opinion, with only a 3g maserboard, the future freerunner will be quickly out of date. Whath's your opinion ? Any low volume product that isn't backed by a big corporate is going to be a bit behind the times simply because the manufacturers won't release That said, the 4G issue looks like a relatively easy problem to solve. Getting the economics to work seems to be the biggest hurdle at the moment.
