Re: Touch-screen not working anymore
Hi Linus, Everyone, since a few months I'm experiencing the same problem described by you in the mail below. Did you solve the issue somehow? Or should I buy a new touch screen (TD028TTEC1)? Best. Giacomo Linus Gasser wrote Fri Feb 3 08:27:22 CET 2012 Hi, for some time already, my Touchscreen is working really badly. Sometimes during input, there is an offset in where I touch, which comes and goes (like 1 minute you have to type 5mm above the keys, then again on the keys). Now the touchscreen even stopped working altogether. No input is possible anymore! As I'm living in a country with LOTS of dust, I wonder whether there could be an accumulation of it, which makes it disfunctioning like that. Is it worth to open up the phone and clean the screen? Oh yes, I'm using QTmoko 35 on a GTA02 from 20080721 Linus -- ## giacomo 'giotti' mariani gpg --keyserver pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv-key 0x99bfa859 O ASCII ribbon campaign: stop HTML mail www.asciiribbon.org ## ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
Re: battery

I stock 1000x original Openmoko batteries (inventory taken over from Openmoko Twaian), which should last for the next five years. Besides this I already have worked out a 100% compatible rebuilt (made in Germany quality, no cheap China cells). So the issue Openmoko batteries is solved from my side. Re: [off-topic] smartphone alternatives?
[ If someone could help me for the bass fix I'll be happy to use it, finally, also as an audio player (: ] Golden delicious did all fixes... Yes I know, but as stated on its website the reworks are no more available. I wonder if there is still someone in EU that can do them.
