Re: [FOSS-GPS] Releasing FoxtrotGPS 1.2.0--translations needed
[cut] No; actually, at least in some cases, it's important that the formatting _is_ translatable. Sometimes things should actually be formatted differently in different locales. [cut] OK, i get it. Next question, sometimes some strings are much longer in Polish than in English. Do you prefer me to keep it line to line ratio, or should I break long ones to two shorter lines? -- Patryk LeadMan Benderz Linux Registered User #377521 () ascii ribbon campaign - against html e-mail /\ www.asciiribbon.org - against proprietary attachments ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

There are some parts of the GUI where some strings really need to be kept to a single, short line; and there are others where it doesn't matter so much. I'd like to just leave you the choice of doing whatever works best in different GUI contexts, if that's OK. -- 'tis an ill wind that blows no minds. ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
