Btw the calendar sync in pisi doesn't have conflict mode settings so if you reinstall your distro (like i did now) and your appointments are in google only, they will get erased...fortunately there is a backup in the .pisi dir :) good luck Petr ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
Re: opkg problem
Hi, That looks like a dns / resolv.conf issue. Have a look at this wiki page. http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/USB_Networking#DNS Once you have fixed your dns issues do a opkg update again. Thanks, Bannon 2009/2/23 Adam Jimerson vend...@gmail.com I am having some problems with opkg, first of all after flashing 2008.9 on my phone wifi is working but it seems to have problems to connect to my router which has mac filtering turned on (is this kind of network even supported?). To get around this issue I connected to my freerunner to my PC and pinged Google at 74.125.19.147 and it worked so I attempted to run opkg and install/upgrade the packages I want there, some I already downloaded and placed them in /media/card/. Re: [FSO-image milestone 4.1 from 08.01.2009] fso-gpsd not startable ?
Hi, I edited /etc/init.d/fso-gps line 16 to be this. start-stop-daemon --start --exec /usr/sbin/fso-gpsd -- -S localhost:gpsd -- -P /var/run/${NAME}.pid It worked for me. Hope it helps.
