Re: let's launch a FR into space
2010/10/18 Michal Brzozowski ruso...@poczta.fm Hi everyone, Just read this story: http://mashable.com/2010/10/17/iphone-space-launch-video/ And now think, what could be done if it was a freerunner? Hoping for a brainstorming session and a lunch at some time :-) Michal ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community Freerunner was there :) http://freeyourphone.de/portal_v1/viewtopic.php?f=20t=1430p=14569#p14569 http://www.ssc.se/?id=14315 -- Marcin Ćwikła jahckal ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
Re: Missing feature
2010/6/20 Fox Mulder quakem...@gmx.net Hi, But there is one major thing i'm missing which has every other mobile phone. The possibility to see unanswered calls/sms without extra turning on the phone. When i missed a call and wasn't near the phone than i do not wakeup the phone only to see if i missed a call. Therefore i often responded to missed calls/sms quite late because i din't know i had one. :/ So i thought how this problem could be solved and had an idea but don't know if it is possible to implement. :) Ciao, Rainer ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community Here is sth for a good start. http://www.mail-archive.com/shr-de...@lists.shr-project.org/msg00116.html Without accelerometers, only Motorola bip. -- Marcin Ćwikła jahckal ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

How could I prevent that ? IIRC, there was a way to lock a hardware resource isn't it ? fsoraw -r CPU,Display tangogps or just Display without CPU - during a test call, my voice was a bit too loud. So I lowered the mic volume while calling and it was better, but I think this setting has not been saved. Is it normal ? I don't know testing, but there was a while in unstable, when volume settings were saved only after reboot. So try to set the volume and reboot phone. - desktop scrolling is still slow (alas), what were the effects to disable or the theme to use to make it a bit faster ? Do you have gry theme? It's quite fast i think. Try neo theme. - midori has huge scroll bars (why a horizontal one ?), is there a way to optimize the useful viewable area ? Or can you recommend any other browser maybe ? It says nothing :-( Just Segmantation fault. When i try to choose Set Application, i see Application as a title of the screen and line with sth like @hh etc. and it closes with Segmentation fault. Maybe it's sth with my /usr/share/application? I'm using Sortdesk on illume desktop. But if it is only my case maybe this is my earlier issue of dirty hacks with new e-libs names and symlink.. So if you won't find anything i will give it a try in a future. Oh, and i'm using your latest binary now. I would prefer list of categories not to be centered on the screen. I think left allign (but in the center, not left edge of the screen) would be better. Or maybe the same size of buttons for any category? So big to let you have your edited categories fully seen. Maybe 10 or even more signs.
