Re: FR and iPhone - how can they be compared?
Howdy Flemming, Neat idea's about the FR and custom hardware. I currently have an arduino project that works great with the Freerunner, connecting both via blue tooth and via usb. The arduino is used to control a custom irrigation solution I build on my roof using earth boxs, and the sends the data back to the FR for alerting and monitoring. If you have not checked out the arduino micro controller, take a peek (http://www.arduino.cc/) . Re: Rogers SIM (Canada) causing crash on Dialer
Morning Steven, The issue is cause by an incompatible SIM card. Go get your SIM replaced by roger with a series 4000 SIM and you will be good to go. Check out the following URL for a little more info: http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Carriers/Rogers Best regards, Steven O'Reilly On Wed, 2008-07-23 at 20:41 -0700, Steven Kurylo wrote: > me issue with my rogers sim. Re: Rogers SIM (Canada) causing crash on Dialer
Hi Christopher, I think my phone has registered with my provider, just not letting me dial out. From running "libgsmd-tool -m shell" here is what I am getting: libgsm-tool - (C) 2006-2007 by Harald Welte and OpenMoko, Inc. This program is Free Software and has ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY P # Read current opername Our current operator is Rogers Wireless nr # Query network registration registered (home network) EVENT: Signal Quality: 28 D416XXx # Unknown command `416XXX' # Dial 416XXX RSTR=`OK' EVENT: Outgoing Call Progress: UNKNOWN EVENT: Outgoing Call Progress: REJECT EVENT: Outgoing Call Progress: RELEASE EVENT: Signal Quality: 25 In the above, I have replaced the part of the number dialled with X's. Rogers SIM (Canada) causing crash on Dialer
Hi Folks, I have an issue with a rogers (Canada) SIM card crashing the dialer application when a call is started. After hitting "dial" on the dialer app the screen moves cuts over to the out going call screen and then the dial crashes. I have tried another SIM from a friend's 1st gen iPhone and it works without issue. This SIM does work in several other phones without issue. Where should I start to debug this issue? Thanks for your time and help. Best Regards, Steven O'Reilly ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
