A guy from bearstech (Rodolphe Quideville) made a mirror for France and some cities, here : http://prosper.bearstech.com/~rodo/osm/tar/ I suggest you to ask him for adding the cities/countries you need (give him x_min x_max... as in info*.php). -- Yoann. ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
Re: [QtExtended] duplicate SMS messages
Lorn Potter a écrit : Just tested sending 3 SMS to my phone from internet gateway. Got build from QTE improved and see no duplicates. Maybe i am doing somethnig wrong ;-) or it is fixed. This problem was intermittent and only happened on gta02, and only sometimes. We looked into this but could not reliably reproduce it, although it always happened on my gta02. We believe it was most likely the modem, or something to do with it, but don't know for sure. I had this problem when I used to move my SIM card from an other phone to my FR. I don't do this anymore (buzz fix :D) and I don't have this problem anymore. Icons for Sortdesk
Hi community, I made folder icons (opened and closed) of different colors for Sortdesk based on a svg file found here (1). You can download my svg and png files here : http://perso.crans.org/yarnaud/Openmoko/Sortdesk_Icons/sortdesk_folder_icons.tar.gz Just see what it looks like with this screenshot : http://perso.crans.org/yarnaud/Openmoko/Sortdesk_Icons/Screenshot.png It would be fun to implement that in Kustomizer. kimaidou a écrit : Hi all Thanks Yoann for the pictures. I just looked at them, and I have the same question : what is the other component you solder on the right side ? Is it for repairing a previous unattempted desoldering ? Yes that's it. It's the C4303 which totally burned when we tried to resoldered it. kimaidou a écrit : Hi Yoan, I am about to buy the capacitor and resistor and ask a friend to do the buzz fix. Before diving into trouble water, I would really apreciate some feedback on your attemp : Oh yes, I have to do that. I want to make a useful report but I have no time for this * did you succeed ? Yes, but it was very very hard. And my fix is very ugly. * is the buzz canceled ? Yes :) * have you taken photographs on your work ? Yes, but they are poor quality. The coponents are very very small and I had to be close to the phone taking the pictures. I'll try to make the pictures available tonight. Just an advice. Be aware that the coponents of the phone are very small (about 1mm) and it's very hard to desolder just the resistor and not the other neighbour coponents (I desoldered one conensator...) and it's harder to solder the new components. (that's why my fix is ugly because we had to repair that) -- Yoann. ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
