2008-09-18 Thread sparky mat
I am not able to find the FSO binaries/repository at
shr.bearstech.com. Instead, I see that SHR binaries are present. I
tried them out and there are (many) issues.

Just wondering why FSO builds were removed from here. This was my
preferred build/repository.

Ubuntu on 1973/Freerunner

2008-09-11 Thread sparky mat
Is Ubuntu headed to the 1973/Freerunner? I see that they have ported it to
ARMv5 EL (@ http://mojo.handhelds.org/ ) . Would a ARMv4 port be difficult?
Any ideas if someone has tried this?

Re: how to compile from source directly from a neo freerunner

2008-09-09 Thread sparky mat
I think you need to apt-get the following:

binutils g++ cpp libc6-dev

(I think you might need g++-symlinks cpp-symlinks - not sure if they are
pulled in automatically)

 What I have to install?

Fuck! There are some retards in that thread.

True.. but I would admit that usability does need to be worked on. Just a
thought...

How much fast is it? I have now XFCE, and 128 Mb of ram seem to be that was
the limit to have a normal use?

Not that fast. Just barely usable.

Would it be possible for you to cut-and-paste the
line of Hindi text below into gedit on the Freerunner,
and take a screenshot. It would be much appreciated.
