Nokia n800 uses a ARM11 series processor ( OMAP2420 by texas intruments). So you need to build openmoko against the required processor. regards VK ___ OpenMoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

What i said in my mail is "community could have helped in managing this" As it has been pointed out problem is not delayed deliveries but lack of cimmunications. If core team cant find out time to develop such a system/website community membes wil be more tahn wiling to help them. That's not a valid answer to my question. Before you suggest it, the following is also an invalid response: "use Outlook or Thunderbird and download all your messages via POP." I use Gmail. Accept it. Now, if you had a Greasemonkey script that made Gmail thread the messages, that would be acceptable. Threaded view in Gmail client works fine ( running under Firefox 1.5 ). There are few messages here and there which jump out of thread. Maybe you should check your settings or write to google. regards VK PS:- I am also using Gmail. ___ OpenMoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

Different operators have different implementation of the GSM standard, which they call it their "IP-crap-R". Now, if we want Operator Acceptance Testing with Neo, we have to sign NDA, SLA with the operators? In which case, we cannot implement the same on the Neo as the source code is open, and operators will not like that? Please correct me if I am wrong. I think acceptance test is required when a phone is locked with a plan. In situations where you can use unlocked phones without requiring permissions from GSM operators, no such test should be required. Probably, acceptance test is applicable to GSM chipset and not the phone as such. Btw any documents/pointers on so called operator acceptance test ? regards VK ___ OpenMoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
Re: well, that didn't take long
Hmmm - claims to have 4, no mention of the limited functionality/developer-only caveats, and AFAIK the developer models have yet to actually ship - so apparently ordered and is re-selling before having them in-hand. This may well ruin his 100% positive ratings.
