Beta7 is really nice, the keyboard is too much better. Software Directory
really works and the resume is fast and works.

Wifi is working nice with my open AP.

Thank you for the good work!
Lewis/Levy.

I found that with both beta7 and beta6 that all calls were automatically
diverted to voicemail and if I tried to change that in the Android call
forwarding settings I would get the message that it was sending the new
settings to the network and then, a while later, I'd get a message saying that
there had been an unexpected response from the network. :-(

This is with Vodafone Australia, reflashing to another firmware (Neovento
initially, now on OM2009) had it going straight away without even trying to
make any changes, so I can only think that it's something odd with how it was
doing the network registration.

cheers,
Chris

Well i tried Beta-7 just yesterday, really nice work!

i don't think they are really suspending the neo. i think it's just
the switching off of the touchscreen driver and the lcd. so it drains
a LOT of battery. My FR just lasted for 8 hours (as opposed to 24-28
on QtE-I).

Also, my calls were repeatedly dropped. So if i called somebody, i
could talk to them for 1 min or so, and the call would get cut
automatically. This happened to me some 3 times before i booted into
QtE-I to make the call. Anyone else experienced the same? How should i
help debug this?

2009-05-30 Thread Steve " 'dillo" Okay (Roadknight Mobility Labs)

Has anybody else had problems receiving SMS ?
I flashed to Koolu Beta 7 the other day and can send w/ no problem but
haven't received any text messages
since I reflashed. Calls seem fine for me.

I had a query from Brian at Koolu about the logcat -b radio output and I've
passed that information, but for the rest this seems to be where the issue
lies:

D/RILJ( 893): [0083]> SET_CALL_FORWARD 0 0 10
D/RIL ( 785): onRequest: SET_CALL_FORWARD
D/AT ( 785): MUX[1]> AT+CCFC=0,0,"61414121000",129,1
D/AT ( 785): MUX[1]< +CME ERROR: 4
D/RILJ( 893): [0083]< SET_CALL_FORWARD error:
com.android.internal.telephony.gsm.CommandException: GENERIC_FAILURE

Apparently CME ERROR 4 is an "operation not supported" error, so I'm not quite
sure what's going on there! :-)

cheers,
Chris
