Hi,

I'm using xglamo (and LXDE) and I had trouble with right-click. The
wiki page basically says to use/install libgtkstylus, and insert
export GTK_MODULES=libgtkstylus.so into ~/.xsession.

I did that, didn't work.

However, I pondered this a bit and then went ahead and added that
export line into ~/.bashrc (reasoning that that's where I'd
usually export variables). Restarted X, and now right click works
as it should (i.e. tap-and-hold) - desktop and panel menus, everything.

Hope this helps; if it does let me know and I'll edit the wiki.

Hi,

i just updated the rightclick patch to the newest tslib debian package.
for me it works just fine. i also fixed the initialization of the
pointer device(thanks to Daniel) so it should also work with other
windowmanagers than xfce (at least fluxbox works now). 

the new packages can be downloaded from
http://www.ohli.de/download/xserver-xorg-input-tslib_0.0.5-3.1
+fso1_armel.deb

to get it working just follow the instructions under
http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Debian#With_fbdev_driver_from_xserver-xorg
and don't forget to change your device specification.

I have this same problem.  Perhaps something has changed with the debian 
distribution in the most recent versions that somehow negated the tslib patch?  
I'm positive that it's installed, and I'm using the xev command to look at the 
raw output, and there are no right clicks no matter what I do.

 No right click with this setup.

 no. the flickering is normal.

I experienced that before, but was just wondering if it's just too much to 
work. Okay.

Hello,

I have Debian with LXDE running. Wondering about a way to get rid of this 
armada of icons in the systray (far too much for such a slim screen) I wanted 
to get a right click.
So, installed xserver-xorg-input-tslib 0.0.5-1+fso1 as linked on the wiki [1], 
added the option in /etc/X11/xorg.conf and fired a
$ /etc/init.d/nodm restart
But still I get no right click action. The cursor is flickering round a few 
pixels (more or less) around the location I'm clicking, does that prevent 
xorg from recognizing a true right click (too much movement over time)?

What can I do about this?
