No. Qi can read fat and ext2/3 but not jffs2, reiserfs and so on. Since flash uses jffs2 Qi can't read the /boot/append file. just an idea: maybe it could read the u-boot-env partition for parameters ? ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

Re: Qi doesn't read my /boot/append-GTA02
Then I'd say this is a very desirable feature (kernel parameters when booting from flash), if and when anyone tinkers with Qi again. I'm booting from Flash, not SDcard. Shouldn't the /boot/append file work the same? If it doesn't, where are the kernel parameters defined? Qi doesn't read my /boot/append-GTA02
I'd like some help here, please. dmesg doesn't give me any clues. I removed the "quiet splash" from /boot/append-GTA02 and added "glamo_mci.sd_drive=5", but none of it is sticking. It's ignoring the file altogether, AFAICT. ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
