Hm. Now I just tried to use 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220, and the dns isn't working. Is there a way for this to automatically set it to what it needs to be? nar...@iol.it wrote: > you can download the keyboard from > http://code.google. > com/p/netgents/downloads/detail?name=qad-keyboard.apk&can=2&q= > > to set up the > dns use this command: > setprop net.dns1 x.x.x.x > > hope this help > > michele > > >> >> > Messaggio originale > >> Da: cour...@braydon.com >> Data: 01/05/2009 18.13 >> A: >> > "nar...@iol.it", "List for Openmoko community discussion" > > >> Ogg: Re: R: Re: [android] koolu beta 6? >> >> > > >> nar...@iol.it wrote: >> >>> (...) >>> WIFI got connected (but I >>> had to install >>> > qad-keybord to set the passwd) but browser is unable to load any > >>> pages. >>> > > >> How did you install qad-keyboard, I am having the same problem. >> >>> I manually >>> > set the dns (with open dns) but it doesn't work; using th > >>> enumeric ip >>> > address it works! > >>> >>> >> Where can you set this? Thanks this helps. Open dns worked for me, have you had to reenter the dns info after the first time "nar...@iol.it" wrote: >you can download the keyboard from >http://code.google. >com/p/netgents/downloads/detail?name=qad-keyboard.apk&can=2&q= > >to set up the >dns use this command: >setprop net.dns1 x.x.x.x > >hope this help > >michele > >> >Messaggio originale >>Da: cour...@braydon.com >>Data: 01/05/2009 18.13 >>A: >"nar...@iol.it", "List for Openmoko community discussion" > >>Ogg: Re: R: Re: [android] koolu beta 6? >> > >>nar...@iol.it wrote: >>> (...) >>> WIFI got connected (but I >>> had to install >qad-keybord to set the passwd) but browser is unable to load any >>> pages. > >>How did you install qad-keyboard, I am having the same problem. >>> I manually >set the dns (with open dns) but it doesn't work; using th >>> enumeric ip >address it works! >>> >>Where can you set this? problem with the dns is due to the fact that when I reboot the freerunner the dns property in the init.rc is override with the default value! michele > Messaggio originale >Da: nar...@iol.it >Data: 20/04/2009 0.03 >A: >Ogg: R: Re: [android] koolu beta 6? > >Just installed. >Very easy and fast. >simple test results: >GSM works! audio call >good, I didn't test how the receiver hears my voice. >WIFI got connected (but I >had to install qad-keybord to set the passwd) but browser is unable to load any >pages. Just installed. Very easy and fast. simple test results: GSM works! audio call good, I didn't test how the receiver hears my voice. WIFI got connected (but I had to install qad-keybord to set the passwd) but browser is unable to load any pages. I manually set the dns (with open dns) but it doesn't work; using th enumeric ip address it works! That's all for now michele >Messaggio originale >Da: damianspri...@mac.com >Data: 19/04/2009 20.57 >A: , "List for Openmoko community discussion" >Ogg: Re: [android] koolu beta 6? > >I tried it a few days ago: > >Pros: >- I liked the installation.
