The screenshots at scap.linuxtogo.org eventually 'fall off the end' as
they are replaced by newer screenshot uploads. I've not been working
much on Serenity the past few weeks, (so many other things demanding
time and attention, like family and work ;) but by this weekend I'll
try to have a new ipk for the latest state of it, plus new screenshots.

Sorry, had a power outage today about three hours longer than my UPS can
sustain the server and datalink. Back up now. (I'll probably be moving the
server to a colo on a 30mbps fiber soon, but for now it's here at home over my
3.5mb/1mb Canopy link, where thanks to an upstream routing snafu inbound email
and VOIP are broken)

Try to install a more recent version following this [1]. You can keep it
without damaging your Om2008 installation and allowing both new and old
applications to run.

If you want/need, I've other many recent builds here (with elementary too).

No other requirements, it's just a theme like the one(s) already
there. Try replacing all the files
in /usr/share/enlightenment/data/config/serenity with their
counterparts from ../illume. If that fails, try those
from ../illume-shr.

Re: [SHR,FSO] Serenity theme for illume

2009-03-30 Thread David Reyes Samblas Martinez
Thanks :)
Testing in Om2008.12.
Joel I like a lot the theme :)

Just notice, navigation on open apps "< >" not work, the wrench
doesn't show but the area is sensible, but on press appears on blank
with the "close" at the bottom.
Suggestion, black bakground too :)

The archive is fine, it's just the filename that's wrong, it's not
really gzipped. If you just do "tar -xf serenity-0.2.tar.gz" it'll
unpack without problems.

Cheers,

software_16 caused a segfault, so I turned this off. I can always go
back after the change is made.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get a change.
I now have /usr/share/enlightenment/data/themes/serenity.edj,
and /usr/share/enlightenment/data/config/serenity/ with five files.

I can select serenity in Look->Theme. I then press OK, and
the display goes black for a long time while enlightenment uses 100%
cpu. After a while, the standard theme comes back - nothing new to see.
Nothing like those screenshots.

Is there anything more that should be done? Some package I ought to
install? I have the shr testing distro.
