Same result here.

To change tone:
Goto Main Menu - Settings - Profiles - 'Choose actual profile' - Choose 
Edit on the bottom icon to the left - Choose Tones tab - Roll down to 
the bottom - Click alarm and now you can chose your new tone.--

No :-) I can!t imagine any phone able to wake me up on 1st January.

It was not -by coincidence- the first or second of January? It seems to be a 
common problem with design(ers) phones ;-)
