Earlier a press on the same send bar also sent one, so those both seem to work at that point.. I really like the keyboard ( except perhaps would change the layout of the letters), but the switch feature and Shift are very convenient. Why I said about the layout; I have been using an alphabet layout in Neovento and am getting used to that. thank you, there are a lot of nice features. Re: QtMoko v14 unable to send sms???
No matter if I reply a sms or start a new one, it happens the same. When I start a new message (or reply a sms) I see a red circle with a white cross and when I start typing it changes to an orange pentagon with a white cross inside that is pointing backwards and it actually deletes a character each time it is pressed. If I disable "Use icon for soft keys" in Settings -> Appearance the orange pentagon becomes a "Delete" key. This is quite odd. This is really odd. I asume that my QtMoko v14 is no different than yours, so I should see what you told me but I do not. I am in the create message screen, close to the battery status there is a little keyboard where I can hide the keyboard or switch to another keyboard, I have four keyboards (only three are shown) an none show a blue arrow, at the most the DockedKeyboard shows a little green key that extends the keyboard with stuff. I do not think I am missing it and I am feeling really silly. Where should this blue arrow be? How do I "finish" the keyboard, just hiding? Re: QtMoko v14
Hi! I really like QtMoko and V14 is an improvement! Every time a new version arrives I provide the Freerunner Community in the Netherlands with an alternative download on http://www.openmobile.nl/ openmobile.nl (this site is in Dutch). I also changes some basic things to the standard QtMoko version: * I create an sdCard installer (Android alike, by flashing qi, rootfs, kernel) * I add some packages (pkg-fso-keyring vim ntpdate nfs-common mtd-utils flite) * I add a working version of Navit (under QX), with speech (flite) with an working map (Benelux) on the sdCard under the MapsNavit folder * I change the defaults of the fstab (swap on 2nd partition of sdCard), nfs-mount to host (192.168.1.200) /media/jffs2 Maybe this is handy for the rest of the community too? Take a look at the latest (V14) installer-image: http://www.openmobile.nl/pages/downloads.php#qtm14 QtMoko V14 Installer Image and let me know if this is something you all like or if there need to be some changes. -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/QtMoko-v14-tp3781291p3784396.html Sent from the Openmoko Community mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
