Sorry for crashing this discussion, but could you clarify why there would be a difference between a png saved by tangogps and locations? If they both use the exact same areas, the exact same name, and they both save it as a png then it *should* be compatible. The important is that the way how they archive the maps is full open and fully documented. 2.
