[compiz] compiz does not manage gnome-power-manager window correctly

2007-06-03 Thread dragoran
I am using compiz 20070518 and have a problem with gnome-power-manager.
I updated to fedora 7 so I am using gnome 2.18 now. The problem is: when
I open the power statistics window its top half is hidden behind the
panel so that I have to drag it using alt+button1 to be able to use it.
The second problem is that the window never gets focus (the decoration
looks like windows in the background). This does not happen with
metacity and not when I start compiz while the window is running (it has
focus than).
Any idea whats wrong? I hope you understand what I mean or should I
record a video?

[compiz] N_ macro

2007-06-03 Thread Mike Dransfield
I have just updated the place plugin to use integers
rather than strings with restrictions (as per the other
plugins).

The only thing which is now using the N_ macro is
windowTypeString which I think can be removed.
I think some plugins may still be using this so I have
not removed it just yet.

Once this is gone it will be possible to remove the N_
macro as well, is this OK?

Regards
Mike
