Re: [Compiz] [Bug 711231] Re: compiz crashed with SIGSEGV in __pthread_mutex_lock()
It appears the problem was, in my case, related to a misconfiguration on the gnome-launcher. The default session launched was 'unity', due to a previous installation of ubuntu netbook-edition. By setting the default session to 'ubuntu' , unity start correctly with X. On Apr 20, 2011 5:12 PM, "Geoffrey Pursell" wrote: > This happens to me on every boot now as of yesterday's updates. [Compiz] [Bug 767883] [NEW] White flashes in menus
You have been subscribed to a public bug: When clicking a menu, such as "File" "View" et cetera, upon closing there is a white flash the size of the menu (like a redraw issue). This happens for all menus all the time. I've heard there is supposed to be fade. I've spoken to others with a wide range of graphics card and drivers who are experiencing the same thing. So, apparently we are getting a block of white instead of a fade. This is similar to https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/687567 except it is for all menus all the time, no speed required. My machine is an x120e with the e350 cpu/apu combo (Amd Fusion). [Compiz] [Bug 767724] [NEW] "Put" plugin moves windows to wrong viewport
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz To reproduce (Compiz 1:0.9.4+bzr20110415-0ubuntu2 on Natty): 1. Enable the "Put" plugin, and specify key shortcuts for "Put On Viewport X" for different viewports. 2. Press the shortcuts to move two windows to different viewports. 3. Observe that both windows end up on the *same* viewport, although the shortcuts for different viewports were pressed. In fact, all of the shortcuts move the windows to the same viewport. How it should work: pressing the shortcut should move the window to the viewport the shortcut corresponds to. There's still some time before Natty is out, but I'll report this just in case. [Compiz] [Bug 86184] Re: Can't change cursor style using Compiz.
Still very much alive in Natty as of today. What's worse is that, apparently, the "Default Pointer" size is smaller than whatever is being chosen automatically, resulting in a change of pointer size. It's small (or whatever size I manually set it to) when on a Firefox window, for example, but moving it up to the panel makes it large. Shouldn't this be a priority, seeing as how Compiz + Unity is the default in Natty and this is a rather large usability issue? The pointer shouldn't be spontaneously changing on users, and the ability to change the pointer size is important for accessibility. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/86184 Title: Can't change cursor style using Compiz. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
