[Compiz] [Bug 866752] Re: Sometimes configure events are missed and windows move slow as a result
Still occurs with with -proposed (1:0.9.6+bzr20110929-0ubuntu5) Interesting behaviour: a window smaller than the screen will move fluidly, until its touched a screen edge. At that point, it never moves fluidly again. However, I also seem to be experiencing several other bugs which where also marked as fixed in (1:0.9.6+bzr20110929-0ubuntu4); one's I've checked: * bug #748840: Open inkscape, then click on this window; when inkscape opens, it steals focus. * bug #863328: Open three terminals, minimize one, and trigger spread; when closing spread, the minimized window is animated briefly at its unminimized location. * bug #869919: Full screen this window, and then alt-tab to the inkscape window from before to bring it to front. Alt-drag the inkscape window; inkscape window disappears below the fullscreen window after releasing the drag. * bug #832150: Is it possible that the changes got clobbered in some way, such that the released packages didn't actually include the fixes? ** Tags added: verification-failed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/866752 Title: Sometimes configure events are missed and windows move slow as a result To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/866752/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Compiz] [Bug 873772] [NEW] Provide a way for system administrators / distributions to override per-profile settings defaults in libcompizconfig

[Compiz] [Bug 793289] [NEW] DoS window manager with extremely long error
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Binary package hint: vinagre displaying extremely long error causes the window manager to crash. if the keyboard doesn't respond , login in tty and run "compiz&" . test case: emanuel@emanuel-desktop:~$ vinagre --file=`python -c "print 'A'*115000"` (vinagre:8697): Gdk-WARNING **: Native Windows wider or taller than 65535 pixels are not supported vinagre: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0.0. sometimes it print other messages : emanuel@emanuel-desktop:~$ vinagre --file=`python -c "print 'A'*115000"` (vinagre:8766): Gdk-WARNING **: Native Windows wider or taller than 65535 pixels are not supported The program 'vinagre' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'RenderBadPicture (invalid Picture parameter)'. (Details: serial 313 error_code 158 request_code 148 minor_code 8) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- DoS window manager with extremely long error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/793289 You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Compiz] [Bug 783534] Re: Move to Workspace have to be pressed twice
Hello everyone, It's been a long time this bug has been opened, let's try to make it triaged! I am still unable to reproduce the bug and I thought it might be related to some compiz plugins. Johan, Brendan and Stephan, can you tell me which plugins are you using in compiz? [Compiz] [Bug 771448] Re: desktop wall edge flipping broken
For me, dragging windows across edges works fine. But dragging icons (i.e. drag-and-drop, or DnD) is erratic and usually does not work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771448 Title: desktop wall edge flipping broken To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/771448/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Compiz] [Bug 836023] Re: New compiz alt-tab switcher window is slow to appear
I concur with this bug. Other switchers have the capability to configure a "popup" timeout, which is usually around 200 ms. However, 200 ms for fast typers is way too long. Unfortunately there is no way to configure that timeout (if it is a timeout) for the new Application Switcher in 11.10.
