Nvidia has added a new option for the drivers, "Use Conformant Texture Clamping" in version 302. As of 302.17: "Added a checkbox to nvidia-settings to control the texture clamping attribute. When the box is checked, OpenGL textures are clamped according to the OpenGL specification. When it is unchecked, GL_CLAMP is remapped to GL_CLAMP_TO_EDGE for borderless 2D textures." Public bug reported: I am running Precise- Ubuntu 12.04. When I started up my computer, compiz crashed and had to be relaunched. The version of compiz is 1:0.9/7/9-0ubuntu1. This is not the first time compiz has crashed since I have been using Precise. I am using 32 bit Ubuntu.
