[Compiz] [Bug 1040081] Re: [regression] Week 34: Ctrl+Alt+T shortcut (open terminal) fails to work
Omer, according to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/RegressionTracking regression-release applies to development releases too. I have a gnome-settings-daemon and a gnome-control-center patch which can fix this. It recreates the missing schema I'm going to try a bit more to see if I can get a default custom keyboard shortcut working but I couldn't that to work yesterday. ** Changed in: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) = Jeremy Bicha (jbicha) ** Changed in: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1040081 Title: [regression] Week 34: Ctrl+Alt+T shortcut (open terminal) fails to work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1040081/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Compiz] [Bug 201681] Re: Window management - Cursor position changes relative to window while dragging windows
This seems to be fixed in Quantal (and in Compiz trunk) as windows seem follow my mouse no matter what try (drag windows around, grab semi- maximised windows). After some digging and testing, the fix seems to be in revision 63 of lp :compiz-snap-plugin which was later merged to lp:compiz. As the plugin in Quantal is built from lp:compiz it has the working version included. Attached a diff of relevant changes (from rev63) which can be used to fix this bug in Precise if this bug were to be SRUed some point in the future (tested that locally and it seems to work fine). ** Patch added: relevant_changes.diff https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/201681/+attachment/3278096/+files/relevant_changes.diff -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201681 Title: Window management - Cursor position changes relative to window while dragging windows To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/201681/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

This does not seem to be an issue in the gsettings migration, as the settings look fine: $ gsettings list-recursively|egrep 'raise|focus' org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences auto-raise false org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences auto-raise-delay 1000 org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences focus-mode 'sloppy' org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences focus-new-windows 'smart' org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences raise-on-click true org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings raise ['disabled'] org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings raise-or-lower @as [] ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 Package: compiz 1:0.9.8+bzr3319-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-11.11-generic 3.5.2 Uname: Linux 3.5.0-11-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.5.1-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 CompizPlugins: [core,composite,opengl,compiztoolbox,decor,vpswitch,snap,mousepoll,resize,place,move,wall,grid,regex,imgpng,session,gnomecompat,animation,fade,unitymtgrabhandles,workarounds,scale,expo,ezoom,unityshell] Date: Mon Aug 27 06:36:54 2012 DistUpgraded: Fresh install DistroCodename: quantal DistroVariant: ubuntu EcryptfsInUse: Yes GraphicsCard: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0046] (rev 02) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) Subsystem: Lenovo Device [17aa:215a] InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal - Alpha amd64 (20120627) MachineType: LENOVO 3323REG PackageArchitecture: all PlymouthDebug: Error: [Errno 13] Keine Berechtigung: '/var/log/plymouth-debug.log' ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, user) LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcKernelCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-3.5.0-11-generic root=UUID=8f327c01-56d7-401c-8bd1-5442854e3c85 ro quiet splash vt.handoff=7 SourcePackage: compiz UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) dmi.bios.date: 06/07/2010 dmi.bios.vendor: LENOVO dmi.bios.version: 6QET46WW (1.16 ) dmi.board.name: 3323REG dmi.board.vendor: LENOVO dmi.board.version: Not Available dmi.chassis.asset.tag: No Asset Information dmi.chassis.type: 10 dmi.chassis.vendor: LENOVO dmi.chassis.version: Not Available dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnLENOVO:bvr6QET46WW(1.16):bd06/07/2010:svnLENOVO:pn3323REG:pvrThinkPadX201:rvnLENOVO:rn3323REG:rvrNotAvailable:cvnLENOVO:ct10:cvrNotAvailable: dmi.product.name: 3323REG dmi.product.version: ThinkPad X201 dmi.sys.vendor: LENOVO version.compiz: compiz 1:0.9.8+bzr3319-0ubuntu2 version.ia32-libs: ia32-libs N/A version.libdrm2: libdrm2 2.4.38-0ubuntu2 version.libgl1-mesa-dri: libgl1-mesa-dri 9.0~git20120821.c1114c61-0ubuntu1 version.libgl1-mesa-dri-experimental: libgl1-mesa-dri-experimental N/A version.libgl1-mesa-glx: libgl1-mesa-glx 9.0~git20120821.c1114c61-0ubuntu1 version.xserver-xorg-core: xserver-xorg-core 2:1.12.99.905-0ubuntu2 version.xserver-xorg-input-evdev: xserver-xorg-input-evdev 1:2.7.3-0ubuntu1 version.xserver-xorg-video-ati: xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.99.99~git20120713.6ef1ad6a-0ubuntu1 version.xserver-xorg-video-intel: xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.20.3-0ubuntu1 version.xserver-xorg-video-nouveau: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau 1:1.0.1-4~ubuntu1 ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug quantal regression-release running-unity ubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1042041 Title: 1:0.9.8+bzr3319-0ubuntu1 regression: wrong auto-raise, cannot be disabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1042041/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Compiz] [Bug 1042041] Re: 1:0.9.8+bzr3319-0ubuntu1 regression: wrong auto-raise, cannot be disabled
After restarting compiz/unity again, it works now. Lots of other things are broken (Ctrl+Alt+T, Windows+Up/Down, etc.), but at least this unnerving thing seems to have been an one-time issue. ** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1042041 Title: 1:0.9.8+bzr3319-0ubuntu1 regression: wrong auto-raise, cannot be disabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1042041/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Compiz] [Bug 1041063] Re: mouse pointer periodically leaps to left and top of screen in llvmpipe session
Sounds similar to my problem, whenever I select some text or an image and try to grab drag it, the cursor teleports to the top left of my screen, when the unity bar greys out. Gedit, Firefox, Chromium etc. doesn't matter what application. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1041063 Title: mouse pointer periodically leaps to left and top of screen in llvmpipe session To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/1041063/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
