[Compiz] [Bug 1005234] [NEW] Mouse blocked in drag and drop mode
You have been subscribed to a public bug: With Ubuntu 12.04, during this month, (May 2012) I've started to suffer apparently random mouse blockages. More specifically, after some minutes of using the system and without apparent cause, the mouse icon gets stuck at drag and drop mode. From that point on, I am unable to select nor click on anything, and I have to log out to get it working back properly. I'd like to provide some additional relevant information, but I don't know which could be it. Please tell me which command could I run. Incidentally, this week I posted a comment in a similar already existent bug here at launchpad, but I am not able to find it again, so I am creating a new one. Please mark this as duplicate if you find it convenient. [Compiz] [Bug 92599] Re: Incorrect (low/stuttering) refresh rate with NVIDIA driver
Workaround: Create a Script with the desired Refresh Rate and mark it as excutable and add it to startup Programs: #!/bin/bash sleep 5 dconf write /org/compiz/profiles/UnityNeu/plugins/composite/refresh-rate 60 Now i dont have to open CCSM after every restart and got my 60hz refresh-rate. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92599 Title: Incorrect (low/stuttering) refresh rate with NVIDIA driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/92599/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

[Compiz] [Bug 863192] Re: Compiz using large amounts of CPU when running Chrome
Confirmed that this is still a problem in 12.04. It's definitely the same as http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=98869. When a pinned tab starts flashing, CPU usage jumps. To bring it back down again, you have to select the pinned tab, then select a different tab. There's no fix yet and no option to stop pinned tabs from flashing when their content changes. The workaround is to unpin the tabs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/863192 Title: Compiz using large amounts of CPU when running Chrome To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/863192/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
