[Compiz] [Bug 1023080] Re: Opening Edit/Account Settings removes title bars

2018-07-02 Thread gf
Hello Christopher,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird and
edit/account settings dialog box.

You made this bug report in 2012 and there have been several versions of
Ubuntu and Thunderbird since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
Or, if it is still a problem, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 1023080

and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for
this particular issue.

Thank you again for helping make Ubuntu and Thunderbird better.

[Compiz] [Bug 111939] Re: Alt-Tab - Not possible to alt-tab during a drag-and-drop operation

2018-07-02 Thread Didier Roche
You will have to reimplement something similar to what Unity switcher
did I think. The implementation is different, so it needs to be a proper
implementation.

Hello all,

Could it be possible to backport this fix also in the default Compiz
switcher?

Best regards,
Alex.

[Compiz] [Bug 1779661] [NEW] Option to change Application Switcher color/opacity is broken

2018-07-02 Thread bwat47
Public bug reported:

Steps to Re-create:

# Open compizconfig-settings-manager
# Enable Application switcher plugin
# In the plugin settings go to the general tab
# In the Background section check 'Set background color'
# and below that specify the desired background color and opacity

Expected: Should change background color and opacity of the application switcher

Actual: There's absolutely no change, even after restarting compiz

IMO this is a big issue, because the defaults for the application switcher are
horrible - it has a highly transparent background by default making window
titles hard to read, and because this setting is broken it's impossible to
change it

This also happens with the equivalent setting in the Static Application
switcher plugin as well

IMO in addition to fixing this, the default should really be changed
well to have a more opaque background for the switchers... this is an
accessibility issue. Take a look at the attached screenshot, this looks
horrible and the titles are hard to read
