[Compiz] [Bug 1200829] Re: Regression: Enabling typical bindings in Desktop-based Viewport Switching breaks scrollwheel scrolling in some windows with a usb mouse on a laptop
WindowMaker had the ability to scroll desktops with the mouse wheel 15 years ago. Xubuntu has it now. It is completely unclear to me what is preventing this being fixed in compiz. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1200829 Title: Regression: Enabling typical bindings in Desktop-based Viewport Switching breaks scrollwheel scrolling in some windows with a usb mouse on a laptop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/1200829/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Compiz] [Bug 1067951] Re: Firefox randomly loses window decoration in Gnome Classic (Compiz)
Any news on this? [Compiz] [Bug 1158267] Re: Regression: Broken (click-through) window decoration on some maximized windows
I updated to 13.10 a while back and have run into new problems with this fix. First, if I continue to run emerald with compiz in xubuntu every time a window is closed and then reopened it grows a few pixels both horizontally and vertically. Switching back to gtk-window-decorator solves this problem, but it's not as nice. :) The other problem is the opposite of what was happening before. Windows that would usually have opened up maximized ignore the minimize window control produced by gtk-window-decorator, but they can be minimized if I right-click on the icon in the window buttons tray and choose minimize. Anyone else seeing this kind of behavior? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1158267 Title: Regression: Broken (click-through) window decoration on some maximized windows To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/1158267/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Compiz] [Bug 1067951] Re: Firefox randomly loses window decoration in Gnome Classic (Compiz)
I see the same exact behavior as timothee. If I unminimize the window before clicking a link in another app, no problems. It's the 'unminimize as a result of being called up by another app' behavior that triggers the bug. I also see this with thunderbird if it is minimized and I click a mailto link on a web page. I do not see it with any other apps, so the behavior seems to be peculiar to mozilla-based stuff. I just upgraded to xubuntu 13.04, installed compiz, same problem. Also, the problem persists if using gtk-window-decorator, or emerald (compiled from source). Workarounds posted in previous generations of ubuntu and compiz (such as using the compiz workarounds plugin and enabling or disabling legacy fullscreen support, pushing f11 in firefox, etc.) have no effect on this bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1067951 Title: Firefox randomly loses window decoration in Gnome Classic (Compiz) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/1067951/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
