[Compiz] [Bug 1158161] Re: [regression] Unmaximized windows can't be closed, minimized, moved
I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 (with Unity). The following steps causes the same problem for me: 1- Maximize a window. 2- Minimize the window using the minimize button in its titlebar. 3- Do not click anywhere! By moving your mouse on the titlebar, you can see that its still there and menus appear while the window is minimized. 4- Click on the restore window button. The window restores (but not in maximize mode) and you can not use its titlebar to move it nor can close, minimize or maximize it. To fix the window, move it using alt + dragging it to the top of the screen to maximize it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1158161 Title: [regression] Unmaximized windows can't be closed, minimized, moved To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/1158161/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Compiz] [Bug 1019169] Re: Long titles do not show properly in title bar, when a window is maximized
I tested it with different desktops. The results are: Gnome Shell: it happens even when the window is not maximized. It also happens for maximized window. Unity 2D: same as Gnome Shell. And the interesting part is: Gnome Classic: The problem does not happen! There is no problem in normal window, nor for maximized window. The screenshots are attached in a single zip file. ** Attachment added: "The zip file contains screenshots of the problem in different desktops in Ubuntu 12.04" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/1019169/+attachment/3208722/+files/Problem_in_different_desktops.zip -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1019169 Title: Long titles do not show properly in title bar, when a window is maximized To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/1019169/+subscriptions ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
