[Compiz] [Bug 923410] Re: HUD - closing a window with Alt+F4 opens the hud

2013-03-26 Thread JKL
The Alt + PrintScreen case isn't fixed yet. That was bug 937036, and
somebody marked it as a duplicate of this one, which I guess now is a
catchall bug for all problems with Alt and the HUD.

What I observe is that pressing and holding Alt does nothing yet. While
holding Alt, pressing and releasing Print Screen does nothing yet. Only
when you finally release Alt does the screen capture happen, but before
that the HUD comes up, and you end up capturing the HUD instead of the
active window.

In other words, Alt + Printscreen doesn't work at all for what it is
supposed to do.

I'm running 12.10, and I have tried both my laptop keyboard and an
external USB keyboard.

[Compiz] [Bug 697358] Re: Regression in window list applet (wnck-applet) behavior

2011-06-10 Thread JKL
Please try upgrading compiz-core from natty-proposed. That should fix
quick launch icons also.

2011-06-09 Thread JKL
I can confirm that this is fixed in natty-proposed. Specifically,
upgrading compiz-core fixes it. It seems likely that the fix for bug
767095 also fixes this one.

Information about installing packages from the proposed set is below.
