@Corey Kearney is right, this is not a key binding issue. Both functions
do the same thing no matter how you initiate them.

Hi everyone,

thanks for all the effort people have made to fix this. I just wanted to report 
that I get something very similar to this in Hardy, but only when I first log 
in.
That is, the windows that are automatically opened to restore the previous 
session sometimes slightly overlap two workspaces -- -they are mostly in 1, but 
a sliver appears in a second.
Newly mapped windows (ones that I open myself) always behave correctly.

Not a huge problem, but its like a dripping tap, I notice it everytime.
If someone can give me a hint how to fix this, I would be grateful.
