[Compiz] [Bug 683039] Re: toggling fullscreen moves window offscreen

2012-02-03 Thread Chauncellor
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test
it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running
apport-collect and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: compiz

When toggling a window between windowed and fullscreen mode (Like vlc or
totem), when it comes out of fullscreen mode, the window is moved past
the top left corner of the screen so it is a little bit offscreen.

If the window is toggled fullscreen again, when it comes out of
fullscreen it moves up a little more. Repeating this makes it move
  completely off the screen.

- I'm using the latest git branch on ubuntu 10.10 (built with the soreau
- scripts) with nvidia drivers. I also have a multi-monitor setup, but
- was told in irc that this happens on single-monitor setups too.
+ This occurs on Natty with Nouveau and Intel drivers.

It also happens here on Ubuntu Natty, with an Nvidia card and the
Nouveau driver.
